Requirements:    Background check (must be completed and clean before starting)

Pay:                     $100 per day / $120 for retired teachers

Responsibilities:  

• Lesson planning: Following lesson plans left by the classroom teacher, and adapting them as needed
• Classroom management: Keeping students engaged and well-behaved, and maintaining discipline
• Learning environment: Creating a positive and safe space where students feel encouraged to participate and ask questions
• Communication: Establishing professional relationships with students to help maintain a productive learning environment
• Student support: Mentoring students, giving clear instructions, and helping them understand the lesson
• Assessment: Recording and grading quizzes, homework, projects, and exams
• School policies: Following and observing school policies
• Student privacy: Respecting the privacy and sensitivities of students and parents
